WASH for Schools
Clean water, safe sanitation, and hygiene habits for every learner.
We completed groundwork across Magadi and Ramasandra clusters to map every tap, toilet, and hygiene ritual. The result is a donor-ready plan that blends infrastructure upgrades with behaviour change.

Vision & Goals
Vision
Create school campuses where clean water, privacy, and hygiene are a given—not a privilege.
12-month goal
Deploy WASH upgrades across 10 priority schools, measuring attendance, health incidents, and student confidence.
5-year goal
Codify a WASH playbook that rural school leaders can replicate with local panchayats and CSR allies.
Our approach
01. Diagnose
Infrastructure audit, water quality tests, and hygiene behaviour surveys with students, teachers, and SDMC members.
02. Deliver
Local contractors fix toilets, set up hand-wash stations, and install safe disposal units while volunteers run hygiene sprints.
03. Sustain
Student WASH clubs, monthly cleaning drives, and micro-grants ensure assets stay functional and habits stick.
Stories from groundwork
From a single tap to a six-point hand-wash bay.
Students mapped their daily routines and co-designed a hand-wash layout using chalk dust. The final design reduces queue time from 12 minutes to 4.
Menstrual health circles led by alumni mentors.
Young women alumni facilitated honest conversations, inspiring the SDMC to budget for reusable pad kits and privacy locks.
What donors enable
INR 1.5L
Funds one school cohort: infrastructure repairs, hand-wash kiosks, and hygiene learning materials.
INR 3L
Equips three schools with menstrual dignity kits, incinerators, and alumna-led health circles.
Custom partnerships
Adopt an entire cluster, co-brand behaviour modules, or integrate WASH with your CSR focus.
Walk through the WASH playbook.
We will share baseline dashboards, engineering drawings, and community commitments for every school in scope.
